  1. I installed the trailer camera and it works just fine. You do need to have the 7 way plug plugged in as well so the system knows it’s pulling a trailer.
  2. I can’t speak directly to a 2021 model, but I put one on my 02. I’d recommend that you tie into the taillights. Of course you have to have your headlights on to give it power but that’s not a bad idea anyway. This way the repeater isn’t on all the time when you might not need it. Better yet, if you only have one trailer then install it on that trailer. It allows you to get it even closer to the wheels. I imagine that you know this, but don’t hide it behind anything metal as that will inhibit the signal strength. This is one of the problems with GM’s current receiver location since it’s behind the license plate. On a side note, what repeater are you going to use? I’m told that the repeater used by Tire Minder operates on the same frequency as the oem system and it’s what I’m going to try.
  3. Is there any way for an owner to tell if their truck already does or doesn’t have this update?
  4. I’m using Du Ha in mine (3500) and happy with it.
  5. Thanks! It’s going to be on my list of things to do. Need to but the sensors and have them mounted as well.
  6. I’m curious if this is still working well for you? My rear most axle on our TT is just barely outside 23’ and it seems your solution is the easiest/best option.
  7. I’d like to get a code reader to use on my 2021 Silverado 6.6 diesel. I’m definitely no mechanic but I’d like something low priced that I can use to read any error codes to at least determine how serious they might be. I’ve looked online and there’s just a dizzying number of them at all price ranges. What seems to make sense to me are those that run off of an iOS app and an inexpensive Bluetooth dangle - but which one? Any advice out there?
