  1. I have a 23 Silverado 2500 and it came with the very low profile mudflaps from factory. After washing the truck, I noticed an absurd amount of rocks chips all over the doors and rockers. I have 22x10.5 wheels that I’m waiting to put on. What is everyone running for flaps?
  2. Already replaced. Compression is still low.
  3. Hello all. I’m looking for some help/advice. My truck has been a nightmare. Original issue: Started running rough, visible rpm fluctuation, shifting and downshifting very hard. Originally thought the torque converter was going out again. Codes were P050D, and P0308 which is misfire on cylinder 8. Had dealer replace fuel injector bank on passenger side. Picked it back up. Started driving to work and noticed raw fuel smell as-well as a pulsing/pushing air noise. No codes. Ended being a broken pcv tube off the intake manifold. Picked it back up. Same raw fuel smell as before. This time the SES light and P0304 is on. Outer spark plug ceramic was cracked and plug wire shorted. New plug and coil wire were installed. Again still noticing smell at stops. Cylinder 4 misfire light comes on. Checked compression cylinder 4 had 110. All other cylinders on that bank were around 210. Rockers and valves all good, piston is burnt with scarred cylinder. Dealership has been good to work with and always provide answers to my questions. I’m looking for insight on what might have happened to my motor, and suggestions on what to do next… rebuild? Motor swap? Etc Thanks
  4. My 2014 Sierra 1500 has been making a loud pop noise when turning hard left for a couple months. The truck has a 3.5in Superlift kit in it. I originally thought it was cv axles which I told the first shop I brought it to. He told me my lower ball joints and upper control bushings were bad. Lower joints were replaced and I got in contact with Superlift to get new uca bushings. Month goes by and finally get the truck back in to the second shop, Chevy dealer this time. They tell me the Superlift uca are not long enough which is why my front tires have negative camber. They ended up putting my stock uca on which fixed the camber issue. However the clunk noise when turning is still there! Getting sick of tossing money blindly at the truck. Any suggestions where to look?
