Looking for body mount positions and frame specs for 1983, 1500 full size bed and 2013 1500 4wd full size bed. Gathering info for cab and chassis swap onto the 2013 chassis. 2013 truck involved in a fire destroying the entire interior of the cab . The truck has just under 21000mi on it, the 83 chevy body was restored 10 years ago has minimal floor pan work needed the motor and trans are done so the swap for me is a no brainer. Im basically doing initial homework to identify the proximity of cab mounts positioning on the frame as well as height specs related to step ups in frame. Overall length of the wheel base is within two inches and the wheel well arches front and rear have ample room to make up this difference. I have found spec charts for the 83 but so far unable to locate anything but a picture of the 2013. once again 2013 standard cab long bed truck 4wd. Any help is appreciated.
