  1. Yes it is, I totally forgot that I still have this lol
  2. I just bought a random bed extender on Amazon, after putting it together and test fitting it to the bed, it doesn't go all the way to the back of the tailgate, I gain maybe 19-20" extended out. There's someone selling an Amp HD sport with the sharper center but from all the photos, it seems to extend further. I prefer the squared corner to give more real estate so I'm kind of stuck deciding if I should pick up the used Amp HD Sport to just bolt the generic brand onto the truck.
  3. A little update- This was the key I purchased. I'm happy to report that after soldering all the wires to the new remote, I have all the factory function as intended. Since the new key has 4 dedicated hard button only and ours have 5, I decided to use the "panic" hard button for the remote start. in order for the key to do the unlock on approach, there's an OBDII adapter that needs to be plugged in. The problem is I believe the OBDII port does not have power until the door is open so this is beating the purpose. I'll have to figure out how to keep the OBDII always on.
  4. @newdude I didn't even know anything about the AJT case until now. That video is extremely helpful for what I need. I'm not only changing the case. I bought one of those LCD key, it solders a couple wires onto the existing button pins to the original remote. The thing I was most interested in was the approach unlock that I have on all my other vehicles. On the 23+ GM cheap out and removed the unlock button from the back doors. With impatient little kids they'd get to the door before me and start yanking on the handle. LOL
  5. Thanks the pre-23 keys are different and really easy to take apart but the newer key have an additional shell that appears to be glued to the front cover that is impossible to take apart. GM can't be this stupid right? First they take our ability to program additional key away and now make it impossible to replace the cover.
  6. I've taken the two side trim off the key, try to pry it in every direction but can't get the shell to come apart to get to the board.
  7. yes it was, measured from ground to hitch then level the boat on jacks then measured again and took the difference. That's how I got to the measurement as I remember. It's been awhile but short answer is yes it was level.
  8. Thanks, I have the same problem sometime with the 3" drop. Sounds like the 4" hitch is the way to go.
  9. When using a fixed hitch towing my boat, I was using a 3" drop. Truck isn't lifted and will remain stock. Looking to buy weight safe aero hitch and debating if I should get a 4 or 6". My main concern with the 6" is when I go on curve with the potential of the hitch bottoming out. I don't tow multiple trailer, it'll be just the one boat with the exeption of towing a uhaul trailer in the coming months. Any reason to get the 6" if I don't ever plan on lifting the truck?
  10. I just installed a RAS on my 25 RST Z71 and it lefted the rear by about an inch, didn't mind the look in stock form but now with the ass sticking up more and it's kind of bothering me. I know my best option is to go with some Bilstien B8 5100 which I will probably do in the future. I'd hate to toss out perfectly good struts with under 1k miles on them. For simplicity, I ordered the 2" leveling spacers that goes on the bottom of the struts. My 19" have the 2" upper spacer which was fine, I've just never used these lower ones. Anyone have them with positive results? I assume this would void my factory warranty on the struts and maybe a few other component that attaches to it. To be honest, I don't like the front level as it takes away my visibility a little with the hood pointed up.
  11. My truck is a 25 and got the update when I picked it up. I've been noticing the issue when using Spotify but I'll test it with others. It also seems to happen more often at the start of my drive. On longer drive it doesn't seem to be an issue.
  12. Yah I don't hear anything it just silence the music. When I try to adjust the volume when this happens it's shows the navigation volume instead of music. After a few seconds it goes away and I can adjust music volume again.
  13. that's the point, I don't even have my navigation going which is why it's so crazy
  14. My navigation is set to mute and even when I have no active navigation it still mutes my music
  15. On the 23+ trucks, is there a way to disable the lowering of music volume when there's a navigation prompt? My truck occassional lowers the music for no appearant reason and when I adjust the volume, it's actually adjusting the navigation volume. Takes a few seconds before it goes back to normal and is very annoying.
