Hi,
New Member of the forum from Maryland. Great community you have here!
Quick question for those more in the know than me:
I’ve recently replaced my shocks all around with bilstein 4600’s. I’m wondering if I reinstalled the struts correctly? Ive read that the end of the spring should face outward, however mine are in different locations either side of the truck. I recall the 3 upper strut bolts only fitting one way, and I had to turn the shock body to line up with the lower bolt holes. I don’t believe I have the struts put together wrong, they’re both seated tight against the top aswell. Truck is a 2015 Silverado z71.
I can’t seem to wrap my head around why it would even matter what orientation they’re in with regards to the spring ends facing a particular way. But i could be wrong. Probably just my ocd bothering me.
Ive attached a couple pictures.

Thanks for any help!
Nick
