I live in Texas and I'm wondering if it's the ice storm that just hit us, but I was driving yesterday morning and the CEL came on. I went to get a OBD-II scan and the code P059F appeared on the scanner. The guy at O'Reilly couldn't input the code into his system, so went home to search the what the possible issues are. Looks like it could be:
Faulty Active Grille Air Shutter Actuator
Active Grille Air Shutter Actuator harness is open or shorted
Active Grille Air Shutter Actuator circuit poor electrical connection
I am assuming others have had this issue, but wanting to know of possible solutions or things to check and look at before buying a new shutter assembly. Thanks.
