Thanks for the welcome. They said they put in what the manual calls for. I believe it's 7.8 quarts, but they said they put in the amount called for by specs, but it didn't show up on the dipstick, so they added "some more" until it showed up. They said "about a quart or so." It wasn't exactly a scientific moment haha.

Recently, at about 55,000 miles, my low oil light came on. I immediately had the oil changed. The shop I went to ended up adding more oil than the specs called for so it would "show up" on the dipstick. Following specs did not allow for a reading on the dipstick. There were no signs of oil leaking anywhere and the oil level hasn't changed after 1,000 miles since the oil change. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Do I have too much oil in the engine now? Thank you.
