06' sierra 1500 4x4 reg cab long bed 4.8 auto.
Is it possible to do a rear disc brake conversion? I have to do a bunch of rear brake work, and might as well just change over to discs if i can.
I tried to order a catalog from JC whitney, but holycrap their site is a trainwreck. I spend 30min getting no where.
Any other sources for parts catalogs?
Reason i ask is i heard JCwhitney has some kind of aftermarket inner wheelwell thing to help act as a debris barrier. But figured there might be other niffty parts out there.
Ive an 06 sierra 4x4 4.8L reg cab longbed, automatic. Ive found the code KNP means "COOLING SYSTEM,TRANSMISSION,HEAVY DUTY HVY DUTY TRANS CLG SYS(KNP)"
Im assuming this means 3" deep pan and transmission cooler?
I just picked up an old clapped out 06 sierra 1500. I have an old Actron that i used on my 95 and 99 s10's. However, it wont even turn on when plugged into
this 06. So im assuming i need a newer one. What is the preferred scan tool everyones using these days?

I recently blew a brake line and now i have ZERO brakes. Which i find odd. Normally you still have SOME brakes. But this is ZERO.
So im assuming it is a supply line to the EHCU on the frame rail. Ive found the leak (on top of frame below drivers feet), but Ofcourse the rusted line in question is too hard to visually trace. So i dont know which line to
remove from the EHCU.
Also, any places to get prebent stainless line?
thanks in advance
