I would like to see that data on the fuel economy with those stupid shutters. Worst idea I think I have ever seen. Who buys a truck for fuel economy? This truck has spent 4 weeks at the dealership so far. I have only owned it for 10 months. Every time it goes in I have to get a rental (Usually happens to be a Ford) and I have to pay out of pocket. I purchased this truck to be a "work truck" without all the extra sensors. At this point I'm going Ford Shopping Saturday while my truck is back at the dealership again... Can anyone suggest a way to delete that system and not have the check engine light come on?

I also now dont have A/C on the drivers side. Blows cold on the Passenger side.

Im at the end of my rope with this truck. 2021 Sierra 5.3L Evolution with Active Aero Shutters. I work out of my truck and it idles a lot. When the temp drops to below 60f outdoors it closes my shutters, but when it warms back up they wont open. It was 80F yesterday and I let the truck rev at 4000rpm and nothing. I have to drive my truck down the highway to get them to open. While they are closed Both of my cooling fans are on and I get 0 A/C. It was 90 degrees in my truck yesterday and getting close to that today. 1- Why was this stupid system made? Its the worst idea I have ever seen 2 How do I get rid of this without it showing a check engine light? Lifters already failed on this truck. Im at 45k miles. Ready to set the thing on fire at this point. Please help.
