  1. Were you able to come up with anything on this Ben?
  2. Yes please do keep us updated ben.doyle.37. My vehicle is still having this problem and I've oretty much just given up on fixing it at this point and just reset it every time it happens.
  3. Yeah that may be an issue for what you've got going on but my temp gauge is just dropping to 0 and then the fans kick into override (like they're designed to do when it doesn't have a reading). But I've already replaced the temp sensor so idk what's causing it to do that. I don't think I I've mixed my colors since having it, it just had the orange when I got it.
  4. Let me know if you find anything. I'm also running the orange but doesn't seem like that should matter for this but who freakin knows.lol I haven't messed with mine in awhile and just said F it at this point.
  5. I did not. Although, I don't feel that this is imperative due to all the reading I've done on this issue. Tons have used OEM and some have used generic brand but have the same results at times. I reluctantly, bought a new battery ($230) today and replaced it. The one I had on it was reading as "failed" even though it would crank and run fine. So we will see what it does. Also what may have ties or may not, the A/C wasn't working and I had to recharge it today as well. Before charge it was at 7psi, after charge 32psi and working.
  6. Anyone found a solution for this yet? Temp gauge drops to bottom, fans kick into fail safe mode and runs after shutting vehicle off. Also what may have ties with this- the AC is not working.
  7. I’ve also replaced the temperature sensor which I thought fixed it but it came back shortly after. I have not replaced the thermostat because no signs point to it being that (the temp gauge will just drop to the bottom while driving and the fan kicks up to high speed). When I take the negative side off the battery for a minute to reset it, it will read perfectly fine and temperature climbs as it should...until it all happens again. This seems to be the same scenario a lot of people are going through so surely someone has solved this by now.
  8. Mark- have you found a resolution yet? I’m having the same issue as all you guys and it’s becoming quite annoying
  9. Has anyone personally found a solution for this yet? Temp gauge intermittently drops to bottom, fans go into full blast mode and stay running after turning off the vehicle.
