2017 Silverado 1500 - 5.3L A few months back my battery died. Upon putting in a new battery I had a code appear saying check power steering system. Unhooking the battery for a few hours and hooking back up made no difference, message appears each time the truck starts. A week or so ago another message appeared saying to check power steering system and steering assist may be reduced. I have no issues turning the wheel. Now the wipers quit working. I checked the two bcm fuses the the fuse in the fuse box under the hood. All are fine. I pulled the cowl off and checked for power at the wiper motor when I have the switch for the wipers to run. The ground at that switch is good, but no power on any wire. All other functions of the wiper switch such as washer and turn signals work fine.

Any luck with this? Having this same issue with my 17. Wipers dont work, everything else is working fine. Fuses test fine, washer motor works. No power at the wiper motor plug. So losing it somewhere in between.
