  1. Yeah, Im gonna try to get some money back on the aftermarket ones, since they are only a couple months old, with 1 of those months the truck wasnt even being ran. We'll see on monday, Thanks
  2. Just recently spent over 10k at 3 different shops over a month and half timeframe, to correct a Converter issue. Keep getting a PO420/PO430 codes, so went and had the converters replaced along with the O2 sensors, plugs and wires. Problem came back the next day, had the multiple dialogists ran and O2 sensors replaced again. Came back on the next day, took it to a third shop and was told that the converters were not GM converters, so had the new ones replaced with new GM ones, and new GM O2 sensors. So far so good. On day 2. Has anyone heard of this issue, that none GM converters will not work on these trucks? Also, had the ECM replaced prior to that. Never had this type of problem with any Chevy I have ever owned.
  3. Any updates on this? My 14, 5.3L 105K miles are coming up with the same codes. This is after all Converters have been replaced, all O2 sensors, spark plugs and wires, New exhaust pipes from the header on out. Truck cranks with no issue, but then drops below 1000rpm then dies out. 3 different mechanic shops and 5K later, no results on getting it finished. Last Mechanic says the after market converters are the problem and these trucks can only use GM converters. Im in the process of trying to get some money back for the after market ones then put on GM converters. But has anyone else heard of this problem?
