  1. Also a word of warning ACDelco says the Advantage Coated Rotors fit the truck, but the calliper touches so best to avoid these ones: ACDelco Advantage 18A1705AC Coated Front Disc Brake Rotor ACDelco Advantage 18A81032AC Coated Rear Disc Brake Rotor
  2. Update: I’m not sure why the sensor said the pads needed replacing there was lots of material left. I did however replace the front pads and sensor and now the truck is on ‘limp home mode’ and the brakes don’t work. Looks like a problem with the sensor recall - https://www.freep.com/story/money/cars/general-motors/2020/01/29/gm-recall-causes-brake-failure-potentially-thousands-pickups/4598068002/ I tried to clear the codes with my scanner as mentioned in another post on here but it doesn’t seem to help, brakes are still really soft. How GM deals with this issue will determine if I buy another one (and I’m from Oshawa and family & friends have worked there for decades) because replacing brake pads and a sensor shouldn’t turn the truck into a brick. Hopefully GM has a recall for this problem, because it’s not like it’s going away, every truck they sold in 2019 is going to have this problem soon as they need their first set of brake pads changed.
  3. I have the same issue, radio power button doesn't work after you shut off the truck and the radio won't turn off unless the driver's door is opened. Seems like an easy fix to programming would solve it.
  4. My 2019 Sierra does the same from time to time but will come back on. At first I thought it was a loose wire, hoping there's a recall for it. Does your volume also increase and return to normal randomly?
  5. Very interested as well. I have the 2019 new style Sierra 1500, 4x4, base model, 48,000kms (30k miles). Recall performed on the monitor last year, getting the same warning message to "service brake pad monitor system". Took it to the dealer who sold it to me and has done all the work to date, but says I have 40%+ of the brake pads left. I am getting noise from the brake pads as if they need to be replaced, but maybe that's the sensor having worn down(?). Dealer said to come back in 10,000km and it'd be $1200 to change the pads/rotors on front and back (not sure why they'd need to change the rotors if the pads actually have that much life in them since pads are $100 for a pair and rotors are $130 each). Also is there some kind of shortage of OEM brake pads/rotors? It took some work to find them, especially for the front.
