    I've got a 96 Jimmy needing a trans. I've found a trans from a 2004 Tahoe rebuilt at a really good price. However I'm not sure if it's compatible with the older 96 Jimmy. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    I've got a 96 gmc Jimmy, I've found a trans out of a 04 Tahoe. Will it work for a straight swap? Or what do i need to be looking for?
