  1. Correct, fold them in manually...... then push the button 6 times (let it cycle). you will either hear it click into gear (which is ok) or it will just start to work.... ever since i did this mine works all the time, but you have to use them now and again or the issue will persist.
  2. GMC put out a TSB on it https://www.tsbsearch.com/GMC/PIT5799A They have no fix for it yet..... lol
  3. Thanks for this. I will look into it, I have been wondering what the Clunk could be that i hear, and its all starting to make sense now.... Part seems inexpensive, and pretty easy to do myself.
  4. I have a 2021 GMC 2500 HD. Which is new to me since October, I've noticed when going over speed bumps slowly, or hitting a bump slowly (under 5 miles an hour) the steering wheel gets very loose. Its almost everytime there is compression in the front shocks that the steering becomes loose. Normal speeds / highway speeds, every thing is fine and truck handles extremely well. Anyone know if this is normal? cause for concern? Thanks in advance.
  5. I had this happen to me as well on my 2021 Gmc Sierra... i ignored it, and it went away after a day or two.
  6. The GM reset for the power folding mirrors consists of manually folding the mirrors in, then folding them in and out with the button three times. i found this online, when i did it, i read it as 6 total button presses. they may not work on the first or fouth, but it has worked for me since.
  7. The only thing that is a pain, to take these mirrors off, you have to take the whole door apart....
  8. My problem returned. I manually reset again after getting the car washed, and I have been folding them in and out every time i park, since than its been working fine.
  9. So I am ready to do my first oil change on my 2021 GMC Sierra HD Denali. Owners manual says to use dexos 1 5w-30 oil. Every auto parts store is saying that doesn't fit my engine, and use 15w-40. I have the Duramax L5p. Any guidance here? or anyone have some sort of experience on this, i know the weight can change, but i havent seen the 2nd number change. Also, why does the manual say 1 thing, and the auto parts stores say another.....
  10. I was thinking the same, but it works for me sometimes, and in the rain it works... i also wonder if dirt and debri may be in there?
  11. Thanks for this, But i tried resetting it one more time last night and it worked, folded them 5 or 6 times to make it work, hopefully its fixed for good.
  12. I am not, it has 37k miles on it. But i tried resetting it one more time last night and it worked, folded them 5 or 6 times to make it work, hopefully its fixed for good.
  13. Im having issues with the fold function on my power tow mirrors. The drivers side folds in and out just fine. The passenger starts to fold and then stops. If i slightly push while folding it goes, and it goes manually. it also opens up just fine. It just wont fold in on its own. Anyone have any ideas? I tried to reset the mirrors and it didn't work. looking to not spend 1k on a mirror as this one has the camera. Any help would be appreciated.
