Hey Chris, I have a 2014 Silverado LT 5.3 and was having the same issues. The way I got rid of the problem was by cleaning a grounding point that is on the chasis under the driver side. Once I unscrewed that ground, cleaned it with a wire brush until I saw metal and reattached it all issues went away. I had tried that g218 ground but it did not work for me. Let me know how that goes. That is what worked for me and it’s been about 1.5 years and haven’t had that issue.
