  1. I have a 2017 Silverado with 51k miles. I’ve had sporadic issues with the dreaded Stabilitrack, steering assist, traction control, etc messages and the truck goes into limp mode. Last weekend was the 5th or 6th time it happened and this time it acted like the battery was dead, wouldn’t even turn over when trying to start it. I’ve troubleshot the engine grounds, g218 ground and the other items on the GM bulletin for these symptoms. And still experience it randomly. Any other suggestions on how to figure this out? I hate to bring it to the dealer and pay their rate to blindly spend hours figuring it out. Any thoughts on where to go next in troubleshooting and resolving this? Here’s the GM bulletin. Much of the same fixes suggested online. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2017/MC-10113356-9999.pdf
  2. Replacement part for the connector with pigtail was: GM 19352068 ACD PT3505
  3. I did, it was related to my speed sensor. The harness side of the speed sensor connector on my front driver side had loose wires. I had my son sit in the truck with the key on as I wiggled different wires around the speed sensor. Every time I touched the wires between the connector and harness, the codes all tripped. If you find the same thing, you can either tighten the wires in the connector with a dental pick or, splice in a new connector. I did the latter to avoid it happening again.
  4. I have a 17 Silverado 1500 Z71 Black Widow with 6” and 35’s and what looks like the stock ABS wheel speed sensors. I’ve had sporadic instances with Stabilitrack, traction control and steering assist messages (all pop together) and a few times the truck drops to low RPM and all gauges drop…. Only way to get it running was to turn off the truck and start it again. Based on researching these issues and the fact I get the Stabilitrack message sometimes when hitting bumps at slow speeds, and my brake pedal sometimes pulsates like ABS when coming to a stop, I was replacing my front wheel speed sensors. I used GM part 23498355 (rockauto and GM parts site both point to this part# with my vin). I installed the left side and test drove it before doing the right. ABS and traction control messages came up immediately. Thinking it could be a bad new sensor, I swapped to the other new sensor into the left side and got the same thing. Put the original one back in and it’s fine. Any thoughts on why this happened and if it could be the wrong sensor?
