Curious if anyone has added a CD player to the center console? My wife has a 2021 Silverado and she is a bit classic, and prefers listening to CD's as opposed to streaming...

Hi everyone. I have a 2021 Silverado. A few issues. I have two remotes for it, with remote start. When the truck is parked outside my house, about 20 feet from my window or front door, the remotes don't tend to work. Often times I open the front door and point it directly at the truck and they still wont work, and I need to go within 5 feet from the truck to get the remote to lock/unlock/or start the truck. Other times, they work fine from inside the house. Similar issue in parking lots - sometimes it will work from 50 feet away, other times I have to be within 5 feet of the truck. I have tried changing batteries. It is the same with both remotes, so it makes me think it is a truck issue. Any ideas? Separately, the radio reception is awful. I live in a very rural area, but in my driveway my 2016 GMC Terrain will still pick up 20 stations, my 2009 tacoma will pick up 20 stations, my 1970's radio in the garage will pick up 20 stations, and my brothers 2022 Sierra will pick up 20 stations. My 2021 Silverado will get 2-3 maximum. Dealer says there are no updates available for the radio. He said my antenna looks fine and its not sending any codes. Any ideas?

Antenna is stock. It just seems that they really missed the mark with their technology. Very poor user experience. It's almost built for the young generation that is used to everything being spazzy, and GM did not realize that simple user friendly design is better than spaz.

Recently bought a new to me 2021 Silverado LT. Couldn't have been more excited to get it as its quite an upgrade from my old rusty 2011 silverado. One thing I am struggling with is the technology. With the touchscreen, it drives me nuts that sometimes the FM button is on the top left, but other times it is the 3rd one down because me and my wifes phone are connected. Is there a way to adjust the layout? The other thing that drives me nuts is sometimes the clock is in the top left, other times its in the bottom right. The second thing is the AM/FM signal. I live in a very rural area, and the radio reception in the truck is awful- I have a 30 year old panasonic radio in my garage that will get 10 stations and the truck cannot get a single one. My wife's 2016 gmc terrain will pickup about 10 stations perfectly in our driveway, and my truck will get one at best. The third thing is the audio source automatically switching to a phone. I'll be listening to the radio and my wife will be playing with her phone, and the radio constantly keeps switching over to the phone automatically. I put it back on FM, and 5 minutes later when she is simply browsing facebook the audio automatically switches over again. Any help? I love the truck and will never own anything but GM, but couldnt be more disappointed with the technology. Anything someone can do to help me out would be very very appreciated!
