I have some damage to the my tailgate and I'm weighing options on what he best way forward is. 2021 Trailboss LT with backup camera (but not the down angle to the hitch) and push button release. Mechanically, I've watched videos on how to remove and reinstall a new tailgate, but what is involved with reconnecting the camera and electronics? Is it truly just plug and play? I vaguely remember a thread on having to have GM recalibrate a camera, but I don't recall the context. I have found a replacement option and if its all the same, I'll just pick it up and swap rather than deal with a body shop.

‘21 trail boss LT-6.2L in the market for an exhaust upgrade, and wanted to gather some thoughts. I’ve read as much as I could find and watched YouTube sound clips, but here is where I’m at: priority one is drone. The is my DD and the first “nice “ truck I’ve ever owned. I have a Camaro and a motorcycle with performance exhaust still and I don’t care about interior noise from them. The truck however is a different story. I want cab noise at a minimum with windows up. really just looking for some additional growl if and when I decide to give it some throttle. And the quad exhaust tips look really good. so my leader thus far is the flowmaster American thunder system. I like what I can see of it. The borla touring system also seems like exactly what I want, but if I can get the flowmaster for $1000 less and get 90% of what I want, then that’s me. so what are your thoughts? Summit has 10% any purchase for the next week, so I’ll make this happen soon if I find one I like.
