  1. Well, damn. I can understand why GM would feel that way but for me that means they no longer offer a suitable truck. It's a shame because I really like the Sierra. I'm not willing to do without some of the SLT features so instead of making less money off of me they'll make none. Ford will but from what I can tell a lot of options are only offered as part of the Lariat Ultimate package, which requires a crew cab. I suppose that's okay if all you wanted from the Lariat was the nicer seats but otherwise it amounts to the same thing. I'm currently in a Ram. The updated interior on the 2024s is what put GMC back into contention for me. While there are pros and cons to both trucks I was planning to go with GMC in order to get the transparent trailer feature. I prefer Ram's approach of using the digital rear-view mirror instead of the infotainment screen but Ram is currently parts-limiting that mirror to Limited trims. I can live without that, though, or go aftermarket.
  2. I'm in the same situation. I've been planning to order a double cab SLT because the crew cab is too long for my garage and there are features I need/want that aren't available on an SLE. If a double cab SLT is no longer an option I'll probably go with a Ram instead.
  3. The 2024 build & price tool is now up. Downpour Metallic is much darker than the baby blue looking color on that dealer page. It's never the same as seeing a truck in person under natural light, but it's the best we have at the moment. I like the Redwood Metallic but wish they'd kept the Forest Green.
  4. I've been looking for this forever as well. I finally found a dealer page that purports to show all the color options for 2024 models: https://www.sewell.com/models/2024-gmc-sierra 2500hd?colorCode=GXP&trim=SLT It only shows simulated images though, not actual photos, so take it with a big grain of salt. The Redwood Metallic on that page looks very different from real-world photos (of Yukons) that I've found.
