My 2011 Silverado Z71 came with the On Star system, but not with a backup camera. Does it need to have a back up camera installed from the factory in order to have the wiring integrated in the wiring harness. I want to add a backup camera, and I don't know if I need to add wiring from the tailgate into the cab, and mirror.
