Thank you.
I will be putting 30-40k miles on this truck a year, if not a little more, with my new job and personal tasks. So I plan on trying to keep in for 5-6 years, if possible.
Just purchased this truck last week, it was a leased truck.
My current employer, soon I am changes jobs, has a 2016 1500 4.3l with the 6l80 and the transmission/engine has 215k on with no major issues.
Thank you for that. I just purchased my truck, and I was wondering about the accuracy, as the manual states an "estimate" based on driving....... Basically a GM guess. I am sure they tried to do it right though.
I don't know if there is a question involved with your thread, but I have heard from other members on another forum, for Colorado's, about them having intermittent issues with the factory brake controller. So, on the 2017 Colorado I owned and on my "new to me" 2020 Custom I installed the RedArc system. The unit can be hidden and out of the way, while the dial is super small and not obvious.

Hello,
I am trying to find out if anyone here knows, has there been any design/part changes made since the 6L80 was introduced or at least from the K2 platform to the T1?
I have read so many articles and threads on the 6L80, but I have not found anything, if any changes even exist.
Thanks
Hello,
New member here from eastern side of Washington.
I just purchased a 2020 Custom, black, 4x4 with the LV3, 26k miles last, Wednesday.
Looking forward to the learning more about this motor and transmission (6l80).
I have read just about every article and multiple forum threads about these engines and transmissions.
I traded in my 2017 colorado for this truck.
