Check engine light after glowtie install

I have not had it scanned. Was planning on having someone do that tomorrow. -
I installed the illuminated bowtie yesterday, and took my truck out today. I did not notice a check engine light until after I hit a pothole. I'm sure the install of the bowtie is coincidental, but what could cause the check engine light to come on? This is a brand new 2023 Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71.
