I’ve got a 2018 Sierra, and when we first bought it the screen would go black then come back on. Radio, Bluetooth, that still worked, but the backup camera wouldn’t come on. Now my screen has been black for two months. It hasn’t come back on at all, but the radio still works. You can’t hook up your phone, because there’s no way to access the Bluetooth without the screen. No backup camera at all, and the steering wheel controls and the buttons on the dash still work with the radio. If you have a phone hooked up, you can still make calls and accept them. Just the screen is blacked out. I’ve been trying to figure out if that’s the harness, or just a fuse. I might try disconnecting the battery first. Considering everyone has similar problems with the infotainment, you would think GM could be held accountable, but money talks.
