  1. Tbh I don't really care for plastidip.. It's a cheap solution. Don't get me wrong sure it may work.. but knowing I used a spray can to do my Mirrors on my 45000$ truck doesn't satisfy me. Maybe I can dip them, if I like how it looks. Professionally get them sprayed. Not to bash the dip method, but it's just not my cup of tea. Who knows, maybe it'll turn out great & I'll keep it! Good advice
  2. I have a white Sierra that I would like to color match the mirrors. I've seen the chrome caps on the ltz models, but I would like to match mine white. I haven't seen any 2016 mirrors matched.. Yet. Does anyone have any insite on this? Do they sell caps? Or are people painting them.

  4. I've heard good about MF. What model # did u buy??
  5. To loud?? Hmm... My definition of loud may be different than yours .. What exactly do you mean I won't be able to get away with it being 6.0?
  6. Did some research on this site, couldn't find much.. Anyone remove the muffler & fill in with a filler piece of pipe no muffler on their new 6.0?? Just looking for feedback. Had a 10 series FM on my 5.3.... Let's just say it got annoying fast with the AFM & being geared 3.08...
  7. I agree.. The numbers are close and fool the average consumer such as myself until driven.. It's a night and day difference. The 4.10 rear end is phoenomal! I haven't seen the curve charts for the torque etc.. that's my fault for not doing that research... I forgot to mention the AFM!!! Good god... I'm so happy it's gone. that was the biggest dread of mine on my old Silverado. There is no lag compared to this beast. You mentioned dropping the garbage can muffler.. Yes it's huge!!! I've been known for always changing my exhaust.. My 2014 had a 10 series by FM. Loved it. Until v4.... Awful. Wanted to shoot myself! I'm excited to drop this huge can of metal they call a muffler and throw something new on... I've read a few different opinions.. Has anyone dropped the muffler and simply threw a fill in piece ? How's the sound, any noticeable performance change? How is the magnaflow muffler on this truck, what model did u choose?
  8. That is true! I had a flow master 10 series on my 5.3.. How are these trucks with just a muffler delete? Heard good things & it doesn't cost much at all!
  9. Thanks for the replays fellas, hopefully the updated 6.0 will blow minds!! Like I said, I still love my truck. Wouldn't look back for a second!
  10. I pulled the trigger on a 2016 Sierra 2500 HD CC. I traded my 2014 Chevy Silverado CC. Main reason we're the miles I was accumulated during the first 2 years.. Sitting on 81,000 miles the a/c went out, trans slipping, electronic locks stopped working... Ugh long story that's just a few issues! Anyway... After buying my new truck, I did alittle digging on the 6.0 motor vs the 5.3.. Me not being a motor head or much about engines at all believed that the 6.0 would have major increases in torque & HP compared to the 5.3... I was wrong and left in shock.. This is what I found on the 6.0: HP- 360 @ 5400 Torque- 380 @ 4200 5.3- HP-355 / 250 @ 5600 (gas SAE certified) Torque-383 / 519 @ 4100 (gas SAE certified) I do understand you gain the ability to haul more weight with the 2500, but don't you think they would give the 6.0 more advantages HP/Torque wise to bear the pain when spending 3-6g more on price!? Just my .2$ Coming from a 5.3 w/ 308 rear end, I'm much happier to say the least.... It wasn't hard to get me out of that truck and make me happy:)! Love my new truck
  11. No they only come on when my running lights turn on... OR when I turn my fog lights on.. My fog light switch activates them aswell! As for the lights, the lights produce no light inside the box, wasn't my purpose of these. But they do light the inside of the bed up tremendously! I ordered the lights of Amazon. I don't know how to add links to here but if you go on Amazon and search maxxima amber led (3/4") it will pop up. A bit pricey but well worth it. The quality is by far worth the coin!! Hope this helps, if you would like more specific pictures let me know I can upload or message you more direct pictures.
  12. Thanks! I drilled all my wholes & mounted my lights. Wired all the positives together along with wiring all the negatives together resulting in 2 wires rather than 14 total ends. 1 positive 1 neg. I grounded my lights where the c clamp is to mount the box to the bed & ran my power wire to my accessorie wire in the rear end of the truck where you plug your trailer lights. Hope this helps!
