Same as with our Buick, everything plays fine. I would imagine it is hard to notice if tracks are played out of order with songs but with a story, all the sudden you go “How did they get there?”. Once we didn’t realized it had skipped tracks until we were back in the Buick and put the stick in and couldn’t remember the exact track so we went back a few and as it was playing it in order this time we said “Oh, now that makes sense.”

We take the CDs from Books on CDs and put them on a USB stick. Before I go into the issues, every issue I will mention works as expected in our 2021 Buick Encore GX (had it since new) and no issues. In our 2023 Silverado 1500 HC we have these issues: 1) Nothing shows up under Playlist 2) Plays tracks in order then will play 1 or more out of order 3) Will skip a total disk (can’t even find the missing disk via artist tab) 4) If you are part way through a track and stop playing it and come back in a few minutes, hours or days it will start up at the beginning of the track you were listening to before you stop playing it. 5) This only happenned once that I noticed: Was playing a track from the story we were listening to but the description displayed on the info center’s screen was from a completely different story on the USB stick. GM and dealer says it is performing like it was designed. Obviously the dealer didn’t relay my issues correctly to the GM tech. Dealer tech tried it in another HC and it worked the same way he said but I’m not sure they really understand the issues. Have anyone had this issue or have heard of this type of issue? Suggestions to a fix?
