    2022 HD 2500 here, just locate the micro switch under the column cover, snip the 2 wires and connect them together (solder if you're skilled or wire nut if you're not) thereafter be SURE to put it in park 'cause you won't ever get a reminder again. no collateral damage afterward on mine. cost $0.0

    thanks kylant just found your old post, had this issue after changing filter myself & DIC wouldn't reset, my '22 2500 Duramax reset immediately following your advice.

    no luck at cws.gm.com with my 2018 Silverado. at gmmediaarchive.com put vehicle invoice in search box, complete form and pay $50
