Here, I was thinking. I had all the bad luck!! Sounds like bottom ends in these 6.2L's failing is more common than what the dealers play out to be... I've now experienced 2 bottom end failures that have both resulted in long block replacements. I'm sure glad we purchased the extended warranty! Truck currently has 72000km 1st Engine Thrust Bearing failure @ 44000km 6 weeks in a rental.
2nd engine 28000km #1&2 Rod bearing failures with no eta on a long block..
Has anyone had luck with GM buying back their junk? I've lost all faith in the 6.2L and want to get into a one ton Duramax. I dont feel i should have to eat the financial loss having to switch..
I do love my Trailboss and wish I wasn't having such terrible luck.. fool me once fool me twice call me stupid if it happens a third time...
