Having the same problem. '14 silverado 5.3 . Changed sensor and thermostat. Lost some fluid while changing . Didn't think it was much. Drove around to see if anything changed. Fans still on high, gauge flat lined. Checked fluid and realized res was pretty much empty. Filled and repeated the drive. No change. Upper rad hose was cold and felt empty. Did not check with scanner or pull cables off battery. So.....would the low coolant cause this issue to continue? Could there be a bubble stuck at the thermostat? Any help would be great
