After looking again, on the above hitch receptacle, the invisible trailer side is a A code FAKRA and the accessory side is the M code FAKRA connector.

Zombie topic, I know. The orange connector that feeds the trailer camera plug plate is a FAKRA Type M female connector. So, a FAKRA Type M (orange) male with RG58 coax extension ending in a FAKRA Type A (black) female plug will connect directly to the camera module (85573256 used in 2024's for example). It's a locking connection at both ends but unsure how waterproof. Probably good if GM uses behind the bumper tho.
