Ok, everything I've read says the USB ports will be "dead" so I assumed that meant no power also! Thanks for confirming.

Ok, we have a 2014 Chevy Silverado LT with the 8" screen. We are looking to upgrade the radio to have Android Auto and whatnot, and every headunit seems to support up to two USB ports and any other USB ports would be dead. I have found this Axxess unit which seems like it could replace the in-console dual USB/Aux/SD Card piece, but what I'm unsure of is how we would route the cables through the center console and up into the radio area. I've seen some videos showing a full center console replacement, but those don't seem to show any cabling running the route I'm talking about. As a side note, ideally we'd be able to power the three USB ports under the cargo lamp as well - just power, not data or connection to radio. But that I've found less info on how to accomplish and would welcome suggestions.
