I recently purchased a GMC Sierra 1500 that had quite the few error messages on it. I managed to fix most of them but the Hood open is the most annoying one to get rid of. I removed the shroud over the radiator and removed the grille to check the sensor on the hood latch, there is no sensor and the wiring bundle that leads to the sensor is gone too. How do I remove the Hood open on the DIC with no sensor and no wiring? or is there a way to install the wiring and sensor?, if so, from where do I start and where can I find the information on installing the wiring?
