  1. Received word last Friday (12/06/24) that my valve body has finally been received at the dealer. Over 15 weeks, 108 days. Now I'm waiting for the part to be installed and get my truck back. I have had rental vehicles or a dealer loaner this entire time and I did receive a check from GM Customer Service to cover 2 months of truck payments. I asked for more but was denied. Fingers crossed this solves my issue. Good luck to those of you still waiting for parts!
  2. Been over 3 months now waiting for a valve body for my 2019 Sierra 1500 8 speed. Had a rental vehicle for a couple months until GM decided not to fund that anymore. Now I have a loaner from the dealership. GM Customer Care did send me a check to cover a couple months payments but tell me I don't qualify for a buy back offer (no one can tell me why I don't qualify). My service advisor tells me that since I'm in CA with lemon laws I should have priority over those in other states. BBB is supposedly investigating. All this and I'm not convinced the valve body replacement is going to solve the issues.
  3. If you contact them you will get a response from a real person. It's debatable whether they actually provide any help.
  4. I'vs also joined the valve body queue waiting for a new part. 2019 Sierra SLT with the 8-speed tranny. Pulling a small travel trailer over the Grapevine (mountain pass in CA) my tranny overheated. Once it cooled down everything's been fine since. Dealer says I need the new valve body. 3 weeks and waiting...
