My 2022 Sierra Denali had a fuel pump issue and randomly shut off while I was in line on the road with a bunch of other cars. We could not get it in neutral and the tow truck that eventually came had to drag it onto the bed which is obviously not great. I guess this is for safety purposes, but is there really no way to override this feature to move a stalled car out of a dangerous situation? I have to regularly park in a garage for work and if my car won’t start in there it would be too low for a tow truck to get in.
