2023 Silverado RST Crew Cab 6.2l.
Just finished installing the Motofab 3" front and 2" rear kit. Install was easy and straightforward but I have few questions. To access the 3 upper strut nuts you have to remove the plastic wire covers that are mounted on top of the bolts. Once you install the front strut spacer there is no longer enough of the bolt poking through to install the plastic covers. I would assume this is the same with most of the kits with a strut spacer. What is everyone doing with these plastic covers after? Are you just letting them float freely above the strut tower or are you securing it another way? There is one on each side. Second I was planning on keeping the stock 20x9 RST black wheels and just going to a larger Fallen AT3 35x11.50r20 tire. The issue I am having is as it sits with the stock tires now there is only about 3/8 of an inch of space between the tire sidewall and the upper control arm. Is 3/8" even enough space to begin with? There is no contact on full lock to lock. I have billet hub centric 3/8" spacers also to push the rim out more. But when they are installed I only get about seven threads rotations on the wheel studs. Without the spacer you get about 13 threads rotations. Is seven threads enough? I know I could get longer wheel studs. Lastly is if I take the truck in for an alignment with the stock tires and then decide to put larger tires on a few weeks later do I need to get an alignment again? I wouldn't think so but I am not sure. Sorry for the long post and thanks for any help
