    New 2024 Silverado LT. GM apparently forces us to use Android audio for the steering wheel talk button to function. If connected to Carplay, pressing the talk button emits the following: “Sorry, I can’t make calls while CarPlay is active. To continue you can use Apple CarPlay, or disconnect it when safe.” So, i disconnect Carplay to make calls or send voice texts. So F’ing dumb! Thanks GM!
