  1. Is there a resistance specification to test the battery distribution block for the vehicle
  2. I am not sure why he put it on the post. The one wire has black shrink tubing on the crimp of the wire. I do have continuity from the positive post to all four post on top of the battery. I did not have time to check power at all fuse boxes but I did have power to the passenger side fuse box
  3. I have a 2015 gmc serria 1500. I have never had any issues with the truck, and it has 127,000 miles on the vehicle. I live in New York and it got to 20 degrees the other night. I have never had an issue with the truck starting but I went to go start the truck to leave work and I noticed it would not crank. I got one click but the truck will not crank. I saw there is several post about the ground in the right front fender well, and some starters freezing from moisture in the starter. There was a guy at my work helping me start the truck and put a jump pack on the vehicle thinking it was a battery issue. As the negative battery post is not easy to put a jump pack lead on to, he put the negative jump pack lead on one of the post for the fuseable link on top of the battery. They put it on the post closes to the fire wall. There were spark and now I do not have a single function on my dash. There is no display, no radio , no lights for any buttons. I did noticed that the truck still chimes when the key is in, and there is still click when trying to start the truck. I checked all fuses in all three fuse boxes and I did not find any blown fuses. I check continuity on each side of all the post on the fuseable link on top of the battery and none did not have continuity. Is there a specific fuse I should check that I may have not checked. Is there abother test for the fuseable link on top of the battery. I load tested the battery and the battery test fine. I also noticed that when closing the door only the driver side headlight lights up, and not the passenger side
