    Pickup Box Tailgate Lock Actuator - GM (84873070) This is the updated actuator that was posted previously by @lothodon. This number came straight from the GM service bulletin that was attached in an earlier thread. I also have been fighting this issue with my 2019 silverado RST since day 1. A year ago I brought it to the dealer and they replaced the wiring harness for the tailgate, but the issue is back and I also am going to try the new and improved actuator. No surprise, chevy still can not make a working tailgate latch.
