  1. I'll add, had my Pulsar on for a few months now (19 TB), no issues, no battery drain, like others, auto stop off, dfm off, but i prefer the first step above stock for throttle response. Throttle response adjustable on the fly even when in motion so it's simple to change...AND BUMP! I've dropped it to less than stock more than once and panicked until I realized what I did. Coming from an inTune 3 for my Ram and 17 Silverado, the Pulsar is SO much easier and less stressful than full on flashes.
  2. wow, thanks. surely going to order the entire unit after seeing that. now if one of the online stores would reply as to if the bumpers are included. patience is not a virtue of mine. thanks again for the photo and reply!
  3. I'm down to the last picky thing on my 2019 Trail Boss (thanks to this amazing forum)... I was originally looking for the missing rubber bumper on my fuel filler 'door' but now I'm thinking this entire rubber seal of sorts looks incorrect and perhaps ripped on the top. I found what I believe is the entire unit via parts diagrams but I'm wondering if anyone knows if the two rubber bumpers are included on the part? 84745944 is what I found for the entire assembly. If this one isn't ripped or out of sorts does anyone know of the part number for just the missing bumper? The one's I've found are definitely NOT the same as the one I have remaining. Picky, yup, that is me to a T!
  4. That looks right! Thanks so much. Can I ask where the heck you found the number?
  5. I've scoured the online parts sites (that are all nearly identical) but cannot find a part number for the ROUND box plugs at the top rear on the 2019 box. I can find oval plugs on most of the sites but none have part numbers for the round (number 2 on the parts diagram if I recall) plugs. Anyone know?
  6. I"m happy to report I finally got the updated actuator, and it took care of my issue. I really wish I had joined here earlier as it would have saved me a lot of money and headaches. Thanks to everyone for all the help.
  7. if i had to guess you've got the old actuator, gotta use up the old stock first i would think. mine finally has a delivery date of monday. i did discover that doing it from inside while the truck is running it opens far more often than when the truck is not on. that makes sense as is adressed in the bulletin. i now start the truck, rev the engine and hit the release on the dash and watch the mirror. repeat until it drops. monday can't come soon enough.
  8. You are fortunate that you've still got a warranty, mine has expired so I get to eat the cost. PLEASE let me/us know if it corrects the issue. I'm still waiting for shipping confirmation for my actuator.
  9. I've found the 'auto' climate control to kind of suck. Other than the seats and steering wheel on with remote start i find that in the wisconsin weather it's better to manage it all manually. the truck really wants A/C and the rear defroster on all the time.
  10. I feel like an old senile idiot after learning they no longer are electric assist and went full electric. I'd have hunted for hours looking for a fluid tank. I installed my tuner today and looked at as much as i can actually see. damn it's tight in there and SO MANY COVERS! I have a trusted mechanic I think I'll just have replace all the belts and the idler arm, solve all the issues with one bill. Now there has to be a way to purge the air from the coolant lines. I almost regret getting a truck so new nobody has the same issues and a killer YouTube video on how to resolve them yet.
  11. This truck has made my 50+ year old self feel really dated. I've never known engines but I can turn a wrench and have leveled or lifted more trucks than I can remember. These new engines have me so confused. I looked all over for the fluid....that isn't there. My 17 had electric assisted if I recall so I was shocked to learn today that these new ones are electric only. At least I know my squeal isn't my power steering!!! Sorry I wasn't able to give you any valued input.
  12. So I received AMAZING assistance on my tailgate issue so I'm going to ask again for help getting this truck to stick around for more than a year. Power steering (says dealer) pulley and or belt squeal. Can I replace just the drive (serpentine) belt and skip the two stretch fit belts? Where the hell is the power steering fluid (I have no manual, TB is TALL and hard to see into with the massive cover over the radiator fan. Gurgle on interior (heater core I assume). Is this 'normal' as I have heat but I'd love to NOT hear it everytime I start it. Can the air be purged without major effort? Heated seats, what on earth did GM do? My 17 actually got warm quick, this thing takes MILES to even seem like its on. The remote start just doesn't warm the truck like my 17 did, how did they manage to wreck something that worked so well just two years ago? I'll take ANY input you've got. I'm a serial truck addict but it's a money loss game for sure. I just want one that I like enough to keep for once. My wife suggested personalized plates, 5 in 5. 5 trucks (2 new even) in 5 years. What's happened to build quality I ask.
  13. I'll chime in, long history... 2015 Silverado, shake, tried a LOT with full dealer support, tires, wheels, driveshaft, thankfully dealer damaged my truck so it was easy to part with. 2016 RAM, 4/8 cylinder mode sucked on their attempt too. Tuned with DiabloSport Intune I3 (and unlocked computer $$$) dealer did update and relocked computer, never should have bought this one. 2017 Silverado, same tuner disabled AFM YAY! Never should have SOLD this one! 2017 RAM, still no better and shook. Manually shifted into 8th to prevent it from enabling. HUGE mistake. I REALLY HATE reduced cylinder modes. 2019 TB, yup still hate it even being DFM (upgraded AFM), DiabloSport Pulsar LT arrived TODAY, no more auto start/stop or DFM, also fixed my speedo and tuned my throttle response. WORTH EVERY PENNY! This trend I'm afraid will never go away and it's just not a good system no matter how many tries they throw at it.
  14. I'll give you my info. 2019 TB with 63k miles. I bought with 61k. Horrible belt squeal, not just when cold either. Backing out of my driveway it occasionally fights me to turn but thankfully it recovers quickly. I can drive 10 miles to my coffee stop in the morning and it'll still squeal turning again. I am going to cheap out and replace just the drive belt as I don't want to fight with the stretch fit, hoping it's a pump pulley slip issue. I am not a mechanic in any way but I know the basics and can turn a wrench but I still haven't found my power steering fluid fill to check it. I will admit even at 6'4" the TB is a very tall truck and seeing in the engine compartment is an effort even for me and winter makes me really lazy. If only I had a heated garage.
  15. I'm still waiting for the updated actuator but I did find it for just around $50 shipped (out of state dealership with online parts store). I had a few other things to get and it beat the $100 from my local dealership. Why do they gouge? Either way, I'll report back for anyone else looking for assistance once it works (or doesn't). Thanks for the input everyone. Now to create additional threads for the other issues!
