    Same problem in Anchorage. The only solution is continuous cleaning of snow and ice from the trough, the hood and the roof of the cab. When parking the truck warm it is best to pull the wipers out of the trough and hope they don't get broken by a passing vandal. Otherwise they will be stuck to the inevitable ice in the trough. Or move to Florida.
