  1. I have a 2019 base model sierra 2500. 4x4, 6.0 if it matters. I’m having trouble with the cruise. It has been working fine, but after the cold snap last weekend it will not turn on. No indicator light on the dash. I took it to the dealership and they scanned it, came back with a P0580 code. I talked to the parts guy and he said the switches and clocksprings are a common failures. I checked the only fuse I could find that was labeled “cruise” and it was fine. I just put a new switch in it this evening and it did not change anything. This pickup did this to me a couple years ago after I had left the window down and we had a rain shower come over. It started working a few days later and I hadn’t had an issue again until last week. Also, about a year ago the horn would randomly honk and just stay on. I pulled the fuse out and just didn’t worry about it for a few days, put the fuse back in and that problem went away. At this point I’m thinking clock spring, but figured I’d ask here before throwing more money and time at it.
