Well, I stood outside the truck and started to push on the seat to simulate someone sitting on it to see where the power seat stopped working. When I pressed on the seat back the power seat stopped working. I had the lumbar support fully inflated. I changed it to 3/4ths inflated and, knock on wood, the power seat now works when I sit on it. There must be a loose connection that is pulled when someone sits on the seat with the lumbar support fully extended.
My 2007 Sierra SLT power seat on the driver side will not work at all when someone is sitting on it. If you get off the seat all the controls work fine. The dealer said a new control module for $300+ should fix it. My thought is that if it was the module the seat wouldn't work whether someone was on it or not.
Has anyone had the same issue? If so, what was the resolution?
Thanks!
