    The CEL now goes off on its own. Then will only come back on when truck is idling for over 4 minutes. Is it electrical? Some where in wiring? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    So now got P0158 code. Swapped o2 sensors. It did not change the code. So its not the sensor then. Researching online it could be ECM, fuel pressure regulator, coolant temperature sensor. Thinking now changing coolant temp sensor. with scan tool its reading 192F. Shouldnt it be 210F? Have not done anything and CEL went back off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Looked at it today. Took sensor out that is throwing the code. Last year put New sensor and put extender on it with also.. Well extender rotted out. Took it out with o2 sensor. Nothing is in there now. Drove it and CEL went off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    2005 1500 5.3L 160k. Gotten this code. The O2 sensors are new in last 2 years. New Acdelco parts put on. Could i have a defective part? How to tell if sensor is actually bad? Or something else? Coolant temp sensor? Truck runs normally and no decrease in fuel economy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    2005 1500 5.3 157k. Start it up and works fine. Goes in to all the gears and lights up what gear its in. Drive it a little bit idk if hitting brakes makes it go away? It goes away in P R N. Shows up in Drive 3 2 1. Had gauge replaced with fully rebuilt cluster 5 years ago. Way to fix it? Shift cable needs adjustment? Nuetral safety ? Big thing with it is doesn’t know its in park so doors dont auto unlock. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Drivers side wheel bearing. Thinking its original from 2005. 155k on it. Only took 4 hours to get it off lol. Rusted on there. Good work out with sledge hammer. Finally got it to budge then it came right off. The Dust shield napa does not sell them. Advance auto does. They can get them in on Monday morning. This project will be finished on Monday.     well its been 2 years and now blue smoke is back again. this time it does it when its cold, also once its warmed up i noticed it does it also.

    don't have a clue if it has been or not. 2005 truck. Bought it in 2011 and so far drove it 60k miles. Never checked fluid before. It has 125k miles on it.

    Drained transfer case oil and only a quart came out lol. It holds 2 quarts. Must have leaked out.

    Changing the oil, sand blasting and painting the cover.

    Put drive shaft back in. New U joints. $41 for them and $53 to get them installed. $110 total.

    well now the start up smoke came back and then it smokes while going down the road.

    Cleaned the valve cover and it has been a week and not had any smoke.

    . I drive it 50 miles day to work. Mostly highway Just changed oil few weeks back 1200 miles ago. I use 5w30 Mobil 1 full synthetic extended performance. 7500 miles between changes. It seems to getting worse now few times a week now it does it. Very big cloud. I have to laugh when I see it go by the window lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
