Does anyone know if there’s a way to color match parking sensors on the front and rear bumpers? Have a 2021 SLT that I’ve replaced the chrome bumpers to color match but am having trouble finding black parking sensors. The parts guy at my local dealership wasn’t much help just saying they come color matched to the original bumpers on new vehicles so all he could think to do was order original chrome sensors and try painting them myself. Those things get crazy when there’s too much water on them from rain so painting them scares me. Any ideas?

Hello all, I have a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali 4WD and I would like to install some Timbren bumper stops. On their website there are 3 different kits for the rear: 1. Regular Suspension 2. Magnetic Ride suspension and, 3. Adaptive Suspension I came across an article stating that the my truck has the Magnetic Ride suspension but I need someone to confirm the fact. Also if anyone else installed these kind of bumpers can you please share the part number that would fit to this specific model of GMC? Thank you.

Lets talk bumpers! Has anyone done a front and rear end bumper replacement? Here are the options I have found that I have been told (but not confirmed) work with a 2020 Sierra 1500 AT4 with tech package (adaptive cruise, cross path detection, front and rear parking sensors). I would prefer to having something with a front receiver and grill guard built in. Front receiver preference so I can just buy one winch and not have to worry about dishing out the big bucks for two winches. Front Bumpers: Frontier Gear Front Bumpers: Two options, one with a light bar and one without, this is the link to the non-lightbar one. Had these bumpers on my 2017 and never had a complaint. Westin HDX Bandit Front Bumper: They claim this one fits a 2019 and they claim the wire mesh is removable to work with adaptive cruise control but based on the way it looks I’m not convinced. Ranch Hand Midnight Front Bumper: Found some pictures at the non-factory website over HERE. Bodyguard A2L Baja Front Bumper: Does not have a grill guard and dang, that price tag… Addictive Desert Designs Front Bumpers: Large price tag and no grill guard Fab Fours Front Bumpers: Large price tag Rear Bumpers: Frontier Gear Rear Bumper: Again, had this product on my 2017 and loved it. It was a different style but it was great. Westin Outlaw Rear Bumper: Not compatible with factory trailer hitch but I like how it hides the hitch (after you install theirs). Not sure how sturdy or reliable this one would be, looks more like a baja bumper with thin sheet metal to cover up the gaps. Westin HDX Bandit Rear Bumper: Like the look and style, but on back order Ranch Hand Sport Rear Bumper: Looks nice, really no major opinion Bodyguard A2 Rear Bumper: Looks the most aggressive but, dang that price tag! Addictive Desert Designs Rear Bumpers: Large price tag Fab Fours Rear Bumpers: Large price tag What are your thoughts? Have you seen anything better? Final question is paint/ finish options. Leave it black powder coated as it comes? Strip and repaint to match vehicle color (pacific blue)? Strip and add a product like Rhino Liner or Line-X in standard black? Strip and add Rhino Liner or Line-X product with color match, it wont be exact because they can’t gloss it but it’ll be close. As suggestions come in I can edit the original post to add more.

I'm planning to have my chrome bumpers powder coated to match the black truck but I'm wondering how involved this is... looks like a lot of plastic to take off the the rear bumper alone. Anyone able to tell me how to go about stripping them?

Hi All, I have a 2017 1500 4 door short bed with a 6" BDS lift and 35" x 20"'s. It is my 1st Chevy but I have owed and modified many Jeeps prior. I am looking for a company that will do a simple Aluminum front bumper with a winch and some LED locations. It is proving to be impossible to find short of a massive bull bar toting "Ranch" vehicle. Finding one for a Jeep is relatively easy but all I keep finding for the Chevy is big, over weight steel pieces......any leads would be appreciated

I have significant chipping on the front bumper of my '15 Denali HD, and had an apparent grocery cart collide with my back bumper. Today, I went for an estimate to have the bumpers sprayed with Line-x, color-matched (Summit White). It would cost about $400 if they spray over the whole rear bumper, including the top cap and corner steps, or $700 to mask everything, and to stay with a stock look. I'm interested in opinions, and also any experiences other members have had with Line-x and similar products Also, any comments on price quote would be appreciated. I value the opinions here - thanks in advance.

Hey all, I was looking for a rear bumper for my 2003 Silverado today, and Theres a kind of local guy on craigslist advertising 4 brand new 2015 Silverado bumpers for sale, and he claims that they bolt right up to any half ton/1500 models 99+. Its a long drive from him to me, so Im not wanting to drive out to be disappointed. Has anyone ever heard of this working? Has anyone ever tried? He's got me pretty convinced since he put one on his 2003 duramax, but Im still curious. Heres the link, let me know what you think. http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/pts/5013187274.html

Hey guys. I recently installed a leveling kit from Rough Country on my 2014 Silverado. Today I received and installed a Ranch Hand Bull Nose bumper on the same truck. I expected there to be a bit of sag but not nearly as much as I ended up with. The truck went back to looking stock! What will be the best way for me to re-level the truck?

Got the call last night my Sierra is in and while I originally ordered it to have chrome bumpers it has showed up with the painted bumpers instead which kinda ticked me off but I don't want them ripping everything apart to swap them or wait for a new truck so I think I'll stick with the painted ones as they do look nice on the All Terrain SLT. What products do you recommend to add a layer of protection on the front end? Thank you for your advice, Alan

Hello all. new to the forum. I am now a proud owner of a red 2011 silverado 1500 ext. cab. I had purchased my truck at end of last year, and after purchasing I noticed the new 2012's coming in with chrome front bumper ends along with wire mesh chrome grilles (LTZ style). Since I am a big fan of chrome I have tried to track down these items. I am not sure if they are too new to the market, but the only stuff I see are on ebay. there are a cpl. of people selling the chrome caps , but they are either lightly scratched or they sell the stickon ones. As for the grille all I find are aftermarket styles. i am either lnterested in swapping or looking to purchas both. Any help out there is greatly appreciated. This is a great forum with an aweful lot of information and members with alot of knowledge. Thanks!
