2020 GMC 2500 SLE, gas, modest options. When I shut it off and exit vehicle at night, every outside light stays on for 30 seconds.........EXCEPT the cargo light on top of cab. Cargo lights inside the bed are even on. Is this normal? Sure isn't logical. (Cab cargo light does work from the dedicated switch. I don't have the mirror flood lights). -
Sorry for the simple question. I have a 2020 Silverado 2500 HD and I cannot figure out how to get the cab mounted cargo light to come one. The obvious button that illuminated the permitter lights, in-box lights, and tailgate light doesn't seem to turn on my cab mounted (up with 3rd brake light) cargo light. Am I missing something or is this another delete from gm (e.g console storage, read map pockets,...) -
Hey guys, I think I blew it on the reverse light diode mod. My Cargo light won't turn off anymore.... the mod was working great until this morning. The cargo and bed lights would turn on along with the reverse lights when I unlocked the truck. Now however, the cargo lights won't shut off. Will this drain my battery? Anyone know whats going on?

My 2015 Z71 Colorado has been running great - no issues... until about a week ago. The cargo light has begun coming on when I start the truck, and usually stays on until the end of my trip when I turn the vehicle off. Other times it may stay on for a while, then go off. The dashboard switch is "off" and no customization work has been done to the truck electrical. Anyone have any ideas how to correct this and have the light return to operating as intended? -
I am looking to add some lights to my box since I just install a tonneau cover, unfortunately my truck didn't have that option. What I am looking to do is have it powered from the gargo light switch and a secondary light from the box. Has any of electrical wizards done this and if so any sources of lights or kits without having to go to the dealer and giving them more $. -
I have a 2004 Silverado 2500 Ls with a 6.0 automatic about a week ago the turn signals, cargo light, reverse lights, dash lights, flashers, interior lights, and the driver window all quit working I have checked all the fuses and everything I found online pointed to the BCM I bought a used on programed it but it didn't fix the problem and suggestions please
