Hi I have a 2017 custom extended cab 1500 silverado. Color is olympic white. Want to color match the door handles which are black textured plastic. Local dealer could get some in and paint them for $1200. Any ideas where to find olympic white door handles for a more reasonable price? Used to be some available on ebay I heard but that was before I had the truck and I can't find any now there either. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

On the 2016-18 Z71’s. Has anyone had trouble with the adhesive on the molding? Every time I look over at it, it’s popping out and noticeable. Im A little worried that it’s going to end up ripping off soon. I cleaned it up and used 3M double sided tape on it but looks like it keep wearing off for some reason.

Hey everyone, New to this forum. I'm leasing a White 2017 GMC Sierra SLE that, based on the price and looks (not a fan of the new wheel well shape) of new trucks I may just buy out in a few months. If I keep it, I would like to look at doing a few things to it. Like I said, I don't off road or hunt or haul a lot of stuff. I like it because there is room in the cab, it's great in the winter, I can haul stuff if I need to, but basically its just a big car for me. I have steps and a roll up box cover. I like my truck a lot just as it is. I have the 5.3 V8. It's enough for my needs. I don't really need a lot of after market performance. I'd like to make it as comfortable as possible and to look good but not over the top. I'd like it to be not quite stock but not a show piece if that makes sense. Like you look at it and say I'm not sire why but like the look of that truck. Leveling kit: Don't need a lift but would lie the front and back to match. Wheels and tires: I'd probably stick to almost factory. I have stock 18x9 (P265/65/R18) rims and tires. I was thinking maybe 18x10 for just a little more width to fill up the wells a bit. Tire needs to be a good all season as I mostly drive on roads. Debadging: I like the clean look. Ambient lighting: I have an SLE so not much for options. I do have bed lighting which is nice. I like lights and think some subtle additions inside might be nice. Those are my initial thoughts. What do you all suggest? Thanks.

Sup everyone! Will be installing some new lighting in a few weeks and wanted to see what others have done. here is my line-up: I will be using Rough Country's 52" Curved LED bar across the windshield: http://www.roughcountry.com/52-inch-curved-x5-led-light-bar-76254.html also the RC flush rear bumper mounted LED reverse lights: http://www.roughcountry.com/2-inch-led-square-flush-mount-lights-70803bl.html also the RC rock lights behind the wheel-wells: http://www.roughcountry.com/led-rock-lights-709rlc.html I am still looking into replacing the OEM HID lights, i would like a whiter light. if anyone has any ideas or knows where to obtain better HID lights for the 2017 Silverado post a link, thanks!

Switch from chrome grille mesh to black
CbrownGT posted a topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Mods
i want to swap out my chrome grille mesh for an identical mesh in black. I've kind of looked around for the mesh but have some questions. Best place to find just the mesh? Would it be cheaper for me to have a body shop paint it black for me instead of buying a new mesh? What's a decent price for just the mesh? Thanks guys. -

Alright I did some digging around the site and did not see what I'm looking for. I just bought a 2014 GMC Sierra crew cab and want to put some nerf bars on it. After my shopping I finally decided on the CSI brand 4 inch ovals in black. I looked on their website and they only show part numbers up to 2013. They replied to an e-mail I sent and said they would fit my 2014. So I ordered them, they came in, I installed them. Here's where the problem is. They went up easy and I finished around sun down. I then went out for the night and they were great. Woke up the next morning to admire my work and they were crooked. I must not have stepped back far enough from the truck the night before to see it. They are not parallel with the bottom of the cab. The front is about 3 inches lower than the back and it looks stupid. I sent another e-mail to CSI and their response was I must have the brackets in the wrong place. So I checked. I didn't. They are all clearly stamped. So off come the nerf bars until I find a fix. Has anyone else hung these from their truck? And did you have any issues. The CSI part number is WE1009B
