Has anyone tried or researched upgrading the factory backup camera? My camera is very blurry in my 2014 Sierra SLT and am looking to improve the quality. I’ve seen cleaning the lens on the current camera so I’ll try that but I’m not ruling out a replacement camera if there is a higher resolution option on the market. Before anyone asks, yes I cleaned the dust and dirt off.

I have a 2003 Chevy Avalanche 1500. My factory amp under my center console I believe is going out because sometimes when we get in the truck the radio plays audio & others it does not. Everything comes on as it should, just does not play any sound. We could be driving & all of a sudden it comes on. I have unhooked all my wires at least 3 times & re hooked them up just to make sure I have not had any loose wires or bad connections. So I want to do a temp fix until I can replace the factory amp. I want to bypass the amp & hook the speakers straight up to each other from the amp wiring harness. I would unhook the 2 wiring harnesses on the amp & then run a jumper wire from each speaker to make it like the amp never there. I want to run it this way instead of running all new wires to each door. If anyone can help me with this project that would be great.

I have a 1996 GMC Yukon SLT - 2 DR with factory radio. In the past I have replaced all speakers. I noticed that I was having issues with speakers going in and out. And some lights going out on the front of the radio coincided with the outages (maybe a way to decipher which speaker is the problem?) Anyway, the radio may or may not come on at all. But works about half the time (as I hit bumps). If I am listening to FM, the display (station readout) is on. It may go out and I lose all sound (maybe some static still if you listen carefully). But if I then press the buttons to switch to AM, I may get back all sound (but not as loud as it is when the display is on). At first I was thinking it was a power issue but with AM still working, I am no longer sure (maybe it is the amount of power that is getting there and AM requires less power?. I do know that there are loose speaker connections (at least one in driver side door). Sometimes, it goes completely dead where even AM won't come on. I can go days without any problems or cycle many times within a few minutes. Anyway, has anyone experienced this? If my stereo is shot, I don't mind getting another one. It's just that I don't want to get another one and experience the same problem. EDIT: I also wanted to add that at times when the power problem is occurring, you can hear the cd player make noise like its trying to start up and just doesn't have enough power. Thanks for any help you can provide.
