I have business next week in Las Vegas that has me arriving on Sunday morning in time for the full slate of NFL games. I've been to Vegas a time or two but never during football season. Any recommendations on a good place to take in the games and have some beers and food that isn't a sports book? On or off the strip, it doesn't matter to me if it's worth it. Thanks!

Whose vehicles will you see during commercial breaks and on the sidelines starting next year? Hyundai. The South Korean brand just inked a four-year deal starting this September. “We are huge football fans at Hyundai and feel there is no better venue to reach consumers, increase consideration and tell the Hyundai brand story,” said Dave Zuchowski, president and CEO, Hyundai Motor America. “We can’t wait to show the NFL’s 188 million fans the great design, advanced technologies, dynamic performance and numerous safety features within the Hyundai lineup. The NFL and Hyundai also share a commitment to helping the communities where we do business, another important aspect of our sponsorship.” Meanwhile... "GMC has decided not to renew its National Football League sponsorship," GM said in a statement. "We value our relationship with the NFL and its fans, but have decided to focus our sponsorship resources in other areas in the future."

Zane Merva Executive Editor, GM-Trucks.com 6/29/2015 The rumors were true. Today the NFL announced that General Motors, official vehicle sponsor of the NFL since 2001, was getting pushed out of bounds by another team. According to the Bloomberg story, GM was paying $25 million per year to be the official vehicle of the NFL. That did not include the advertisement space it bought. Hyundai's market share has slipped slightly as of late and the company is looking for ways to boost its mind-share. The NFL sponsorship has paid of hugely for GM. Last year when MVP Tom Brady gave his Chevy Colorado to Malcolm Butler the free publicity went on for weeks with a photo and mention of the hot new truck in every story.

John Goreham Contributing Writer, GM-Trucks.com 6/23/2015 "You see him on TV any given Sunday, when the Superbowl ends he drives off in a Hyundai." Prescient words Mr. West. Indeed if Hyundai takes over sponsorship of the NFL as Bloomberg Business is predicting, it may be a Santa Fe or Genesis that the Superbowl MVP drives off with instead of a Chevy Colorado next year.
