Hoping to get some input from all of you transmission gurus. I have a 2012 sierra 1500 4x4 with the M30 build code 2KPD trans tag. It has suffered a catastrophic failure and I have another 4L60E out of supposedly a 2013 silverado trans tag 1KCD. Bell housings , tail extensions etc.. are the same but one has the internal gear selection sensor and the 1KCD has the external sensor. Obviously the case plug and harness are much different on these. Wondering if it is possible to modify the wiring harness to make these compatible.
