  1. Just ordered my Auto-Cal from BB. Anticipation is killing me, just like all of you. Any tips from you guys with an Auto-Cal on my next steps when I finally get it? I thought I should receive an e-mail from BB but still waiting. I know they are really busy and a small operation respectively so I guess I will just wait patiently
  2. Your stock 5300lb 403hp truck beat a 3500lb 315hp car? WoW, good kill that car should run about .7 seconds quicker than your truck in a 1/4 mile. Yeah I am no expert or experienced racer by any means so must have been the driver. I still will take anyway hahaha
  3. Defiantly not afraid to use my smart phone, but didn't have a person riding shotgun to record for me. Something tells me racing from stop light to stop light while using an iPhone is probably not the best idea. ? Not an expert by any means but I prefer it off.
  4. So for anyone who has not yet had a chance to run against a Ford 6.2 Raptor here are the details. My friend just recently purchased a 2012 Raptor and after he ran a tank of gas through it, it was time to run the 6.2 NHT against the Raptor 6.2 Now I do have a K&N intake and a Magnaflow muffler; however, we all know the gains are minimal and more for the beefy sound. The Raptor was completely stock and a capable driver at the wheel. There was also a Mustang GT that joined the fun, mods unknown, year what looked to be 2010+. So, all three raced from stop light to stop light at three different lights, all with the same outcome. All three cars roasted tires at the start and there was no question my 6.2 NHT got them both all three times. I was in automatic, not the manual shift mode with the traction control off, same with the Raptor. All three races I got the Raptor and GT by a full truck length. The Raptor and GT were side by side. I shot out from a dig with the 3:73 gears and didn’t look back. It was a fun experience because the Raptor was the only truck I have yet to run against. The only truck to pulled on me so far have been a dodge SRT 10 (Obviously haha) and a really quick Lighting that had bells and whistles. I have a feeling after a BB tune the lighting will be closer; however, the SRT 10 is a BAD TRUCK. Just thought I would share will you guys. Later.
  5. Um I have a 2012 and I'll take pics of whatever you want. Is there something specific you wanted to see or just pics of his truck in general?
  6. So how many of you have removed the resonator? I am going to install a magna flow exhaust only and was wandering if removing the resonator would be a good idea or would it be too loud / would the drone while driving be too loud?
  7. SMH Don't like lifts or leveling??? To each their own, I defiantly don't plan on taking my luxury truck off road either. I just wanted the 4X4 capability because you never know. And pulling a boat up a slippery boat ramp, 4X4 is a plus. Not having because 4X4 because you don't think you will need it is like not wearing a condom cuz you don't plan on getting a girl pregnant. LOLZ
  8. Simple......... do the math...... Given the same tires on each vehicle, it's pure power to weight ratio. Well according to GMC.com 4X4 extended cab curb weight = 5330 / 4X2 = 5092 4X4 crew cab cube weight = 5372 / 4X2 = 5120 So the difference is a few hundred pounds which means a lot if your a serious drag racer wanting to shave a few .01 secs off your quarter time. In real life it would be the difference a the amount of passengers. The difference in the drivers means a lot more. So to answer your question is doesn't really matter xc or cc. You should go with the cc for the room and 4X4 because why not have the 4X4 capability, I mean why buy a 2X4 truck???? Hope that answers your question.
  9. I doubt the legitimacy of this statement; however, if true I'm glad I got mine when I did.
  10. Still, an Airraid CAI won’t make a .6 second difference in the 1/4. That tune was clearly a hindrance.
  11. I guess I underestimated the HP and TQ gains from ARH. The COI gains are minimal and because of the description of the trucks in the race, I just assumed it would have been closer. The CC won by .6 and in the 1/4 that's a lot. I would have assumed the BB tune and the ARH would be a push? Either way sweet video and thanks for showing us what our trucks can do.
